This blog represents my opinions and my opinions alone, and certainly doesn't represent the collective thoughts of any of the Boards or organizations that I serve on. Unfortunately I make all sorts of miistakes, I'm a picky eater, I can't sing and I just recently found out I have been spelling certain words in my vocabulary wrong my entire life. That being said, I still continue to muddle ever onward. Welcome.

Special Board of Education Meeting Tonight 7pm

The Monona Grove Board of Education will meet tonight at 7pm in the Winnequah School cafeteria to vote on the consolidation of Maywood Elementary and Winnequah School. The Board will first convene at 6pm in closed session to revisit the matter of the payroll over-payment of about 45 teachers.

  1. It was the right decision to close. The move of 6th grade and budget problems made this decision the right one.

  2. It's a sin that we moved 6th grade. We said we wouldn't........and then we did anyways.

Can anyone believe anything the school board promises anymore??

  3. They also promised the best education for our kids, and moved the 6th grade to help make it happen. Both promises couldn't be kept, and they chose the right one.
