This blog represents my opinions and my opinions alone, and certainly doesn't represent the collective thoughts of any of the Boards or organizations that I serve on. Unfortunately I make all sorts of miistakes, I'm a picky eater, I can't sing and I just recently found out I have been spelling certain words in my vocabulary wrong my entire life. That being said, I still continue to muddle ever onward. Welcome.

  1. I think these are great. Yet, is there any chance the Parks and Rec team could focus there energies? Instead of trying to run a whole bunch of programs-run fewer better-I am having too many problems with communication with their office. I thought the new position was suppose to help those issues?...
I know it is not your fault-just sayin-not all is well within Park and Rec land.

  3. I like the variety of programming and as an older person with grown kids I really appreciate there is something beyond the kid programming. It seems there is a small group with a personal axe to grind with Jake. I don't know who any of these people are. I have friends and neighbors with young kids and they all think the rec department does a good job.

No, not really. My axe to grind is too much programming that is done poorly ie traversing southern wi with bad information. My second axe to grind is being treated as if I am the problem. My third axe is Parks and Rec accusing various community groups of being whiners and problem children when all is they want is good information and an occasionally e-mail saying-we goofed sorry.
